Spring naturally brings to mind a fresh start — at home as well. With more daylight, we notice dust, cluttered cabinets, and things we’ve been putting off much more quickly. However, spring cleaning doesn’t have to mean spending an entire weekend scrubbing from morning until night. The key is good planning and dividing the work into stages that help you stay motivated.

Stage 1: A Plan Instead of Pressure

Before reaching for cleaning products, take a moment to create a plan. Divide your home into specific zones: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, closets, balcony, or basement. Spread the tasks over several days or even weeks — depending on how much time you have. A realistic plan reduces the feeling of overwhelm and gives you a sense of control over the process.

Stage 2: Declutter — Get Rid of the Excess

The biggest enemy of order is having too much stuff. Spring is the perfect time to sort through clothes, accessories, documents, and small household items.
