Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- 1 cup natural yogurt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 500 g sliced strawberries
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare a baking pan by greasing it with butter or lining it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, combine the yogurt, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the strawberries.

Ingredients:
- 1 sponge cake base (you can use a store-bought one or make your own)
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 package strawberry-flavored jelly
- 250 ml whipping cream, whipped to stiff peaks

Ingredients:
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Sponge Cake Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Prepare a baking pan (about 23 cm in diameter) by lining the bottom with parchment paper and lightly greasing the sides.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar at high speed until the mixture becomes fluffy and light, which takes about 5-7 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gently fold the dry mixture into the beaten eggs, mixing carefully from the bottom up with a spoon or spatula to retain the fluffiness.
- If using, add the vanilla extract and gently mix.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- After baking, remove the sponge cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes, then gently remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
After baking the sponge cake, prepare the remaining steps:
- Prepare the jelly according to the package instructions, but use 1/4 less water to make it firmer.
- Place the sponge cake in a cake pan, preferably with removable sides.
- Spread the sliced strawberries evenly over the sponge cake.
- When the jelly starts to set but is still liquid, gently pour it over the strawberries.
- Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours to allow the jelly to fully set.
- Just before serving, decorate the cake with whipped cream.
