Grilled Salmon with Lemon and Herbs – A Simple Recipe for an Elegant Meal

Grilled salmon is one of those dishes that combines easy preparation with truly refined flavor. It’s perfect for a summer garden party or a quick, healthy weeknight dinner. The key to success? Fresh herbs, lemon juice, and just the right grilling time to keep the fish tender and juicy.
Ingredients:
2 salmon fillets, skin-on
1 lemon (juice + a few slices)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves (pressed or finely chopped)
Fresh thyme and rosemary
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
Rinse the salmon fillets gently and pat dry with paper towels. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and chopped herbs.
Rub the marinade over both sides of the fillets. Let them sit for at least 15 minutes.
Preheat the grill (or a grill pan). Place the salmon skin-side down and grill for about 4–5 minutes. Flip carefully and grill for another 2–3 minutes.
Serve with lemon slices and a sprinkle of fresh herbs.
This recipe pairs wonderfully with grilled vegetables, an arugula salad, or roasted potatoes. The herbs and lemon not only elevate the flavor but also support digestion.
Why Choose Salmon?
Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin D, and protein. Regular consumption supports heart and brain health and improves skin condition. Plus, grilling is one of the healthiest cooking methods—no extra fat or heavy sauces needed.
